The Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2017 KUALA LUMPUR was held at Shangri-La Hotel on 30 November 2017.
Through a hosted seminar, exhibition and panel discussion on Hitachi's Social Innovation Business achievements in the global market, the strong potential of the company's collaborative creation efforts in solving social issues in Malaysia were explored.
Through the speeches and presentations delivered by our esteemed speakers (listed below in order of programme flow), distinguished guests were able to understand how Hitachi can value-add to Malaysia's growth, as well as its existing businesses in the Internet of Things (IoT).
Through the event, guests were able to expand their understanding on growth opportunities and challenges in Malaysia, both from Hitachi executives as well as external insights from industry experts. The panel discussion featured benefits and challenges in the adoption of IoT and Malaysia's Industry 4.0. Issues such as government facilitation, digital economy and smart manufacturing were also examined. A dinner reception to conclude the event provided attendees an occasion to interact and network, facilitating fruitful discussions amongst key opinion leaders in the Malaysian market.
Hitachi's key technologies and strengths in the Social Innovation Business were also highlighted at the exhibition. Some of the key business fields showcased include, Urban Development, Power, Security, Healthcare and more.
Following HSIF's first successful inception in Malaysia earlier this year in February, this marks yet another rendition of the event in the capital of Malaysia. Through this event, 360 guests were able to develop a better understanding of Hitachi's Social Innovation Business and better comprehend Hitachi's continued endeavour in supporting Malaysia's national push towards becoming a smart and sustainable economy.
